Varsity Letter

While clearing out some old shoe boxes, I found some memories of a more athletic me. I was awarded my varsity letter in 9th grade for Swimming at the American School of the Hague, 1993.

Varsity/Letter jacket? It was too expensive; I really wanted one. My father’s Dutch army issue (M53) heavy combat jacket from his days when drafted was comfortable enough.
